Neely is currently the CEO of the Franci Neely Foundation and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust,” an American charity organization established by Helmsley that provides grants to organizations that support education, health care, and other charitable causes.

Franci Neely has held numerous positions within various organizations that have helped further her career growth in child abuse prevention.

She was a participant in Oprah Winfrey’s “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” where she discussed how to protect your children from physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglectful parenting practices, and substance use disorders, among other things.

Philanthropy

Franci Neely is a philanthropist in child abuse prevention.

She is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She has received several awards from the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

She received the HHS’ Community Action on Child Abuse and Neglect (CATCH) Award for her work with children, mothers, and families.

In 2011, she received the HHS CATCH Award for her work with children, mothers, and families she was recognized by President Barack Obama via his Champion of Change program as a Champion of Change for her work protecting children from abuse and neglect.

Neely is also an advocate for children abused or neglected by their parents or guardians.

To date, she has been able to prevent over 6,000 cases of child abuse and neglect through her efforts in educating both parents and professionals about proper parenting techniques and warning signs that could indicate that a child is being abused or neglected by their parent or guardian.
