The health and weight loss company Nutrimost is suing one of their rivals for allegedly pirating intellectual property from their website and using it for their own gain. The company they are accusing is a Pennsylvania-based health company called Healthy Living. Nutrimost says that they stole a video from their site, slightly altered it and used it for their own gain on their website. The matter has been going on for over a year. Nutrimost has recently taken it to court by suing them.
Nutrimost’s claims seem to be substantiated when both videos are watched. Nutrimosts’ main slogan “Ultimate Weight Loss Plan” has been changed to “Can’t Lose Diet Plan”. Other than that, the two videos seem to be almost exactly identical. The two videos even have the same patient and doctor testimonials extolling the virtues of the products.
Nutrimost is being copied for a reason, their success. The Ultimate Weight Loss Plan is one of the most popular new diet plans in the world. People are attracted to its method. This is because it doesn’t require that the patient take any pills or any other kind of supplement in order to help them lose weight. The process is guided by a medical professional that uses the Nutrimost Resonant Frequency to help diagnose the person’s problems areas and treat the entirety of their healthy. It doesn’t take away from another aspect of a person’s health to help them appear to thinner.
After Healthy Living ignored Nutrimost‘s cease and desist letter last fall the company decided to sue them in court. They are being sued for $300,000 to cover damages in revenue and reputation that they and their lawyers estimate that they suffered through. They would also like a court order preventing Healthy Living from using the video ever again on their website.
