The Insight of Felipe Montoro Jens Regarding The Concession Proposals

The Brazilian government’s announcement about its planned concessions that will be made possible thanks to a partnership with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development would soon take place. Felipe Montoro Jens, the chairman of the Concessionária do Centro Administrativo do Distrito Federal, conducted a series of interview that would give them an insight as to how they could properly execute the proposal. Felipe Montoro Jen attended the Getulio Vargas Foundation where he earned his undergraduate degree and then went to the Thunderbird School of Global Management to get his graduate degree.

The interview that was conducted between Felipe Montoro Jens and Edison Carlos, the president of an institute called Trata Brasil, whose actions are focused on the basics of sanitation, cleared out some points regarding the concession plan. Edison Carlos pointed out a list of important information about the planned initiative. He believes in the sense that the proposed services that will be provided should undergo improvements in terms of resource areas, structures, and management. Felipe Montoro Jens raised the aspect about the gradual decrease in waste levels during the short interview between the two.

What Edison Carlos has pointed out is that Brazil’s basic sanitation has is being powered by at least 90% of its population, and 70% of the users are being served by some of the organizations from the state. According to him, the upcoming presence from the private sector should not be feared as excluding the public from the proposal, since he believes that if the two work together and act as one, they can produce better results, and the bodies which form the government could have a long and lasting positive experience with partnering in private companies and organizations. It is very important to set a goal and transparency in drafting the contracts, and the agencies from the public should do inspections where the future services will be laid upon. http://relationshipscience.com/felipe-montoro-jens-p24643181
